Seductive and sculptural, this 1980s Ungaro Parallèle dress captures the sophisticated theatricality of the maison in a form that still exudes femininity and visual power today. This dress also represents an important source of cinematic inspiration: it is the original garment from which the reproduction worn by Lady Gaga as Patrizia Reggiani in the cult film House of Gucci (2021) was derived. Oscar-winning costume designer Janty Yates alternated archival pieces with faithful recreations of looks from major French and Italian fashion houses.
